Equipment

The following equipment is provided in the facility:

• Trash receptacles
• 5' round and 4' square tables
• Buffet stations

Technical

Rental includes setting up house sound system and podium. Other audiovisual equipment is available for an additional charge.

Housekeeping

Normal cleanup services are included in rental fees. There is an additional charge for unusual cleanup and building damage.

Sanitation

A standard inventory of indoor trash receptacles is provided. Additional sanitation services are available at additional charge.

Parking

Parking is available in the parking deck behind the Bryan Center next to the West Union building. Visitors can park in the deck for a fee ($2 per hour) and special arrangements can be made for larger groups.

Catering

Food and drinks are allowed in the facility. Duke Catering is the preferred caterer for the facility. Event Management maintains a list of approved caterers for this facility. This venue does not have a prep kitchen.

Handicapped Accessibility

The entire facility, including restrooms, is fully accessible to disabled persons.

Interior

The Faculty Commons is traditionally decorated with wood paneling and hardwood floors accented with oriental carpets. The room overlooks the picturesque main quadrangle.
