Duke Marine Lab
The Duke University Marine Laboratory is a campus of Duke University located on Piver’s Island overlooking the waterfront of historic Beaufort, North Carolina. The Lab is a unit within the Nicholas School of the Environment. The mission is education, research, and service to understand marine systems, including the human component, and to develop approaches for marine conservation and restoration.
For over half a century, the Duke Marine Lab has been chosen by students for its unique high quality education: a learning as well as living experience.
