Live From Duke Studios
In a joint effort with various News & Communication Offices on the Duke campus,
Duke Studios provides a location for University expert guests appearances on network
news interview programs. This ongoing project recently hosted Alex Roland, professor
of history at Duke, discussing the release of the report on the space shuttle
Columbia disaster on the PBS show "The MacNeil-Lehrer News Hour".

Coach K Academy
Studio staffers provided video production services to document the activities
at the 1st Coach K Academy fantasy basketball camp. Supported partially by Nike,
this fundraiser for the Emily Krzyzewski Family Life Center in Durham, NC attracted
players from all over the world (one person traveled from Hong Kong) to participate
in a four day experience of competition and insider information about Duke men's
basketball with Mike Krzyzewski and his current staff, as well as numerous former
Duke players.
Tony Rice Spends The Day
Executive Producer Happy Tramm of Homespun Music Instruction brought bluegrass
guitar legend Tony Rice into Duke Recording Studios for an afternoon of bluegrass
picking and guitar instruction. The session was produced and directed by Michael
Sheehan. Camera operators for the multi-camera shoot were Tammi Thornton, Ben
Root and Studio staffer Tom Wilson. Jeff Anderson mixed the session.
