Event Management can assist with all of your dining needs while visiting Duke
University. Partnered with Duke Dining Services, we can offer a range of options
from your typical board plan, a flexible dining plan, or a catered meal on or
off-campus. Our goal is to provide sponsors with a variety of options and the
highest quality of service possible.
The summer Board Plan provides participants a full meal plan of three meals
per daily at a discounted rate. Board Plan meals are served all-you-care-to-eat
at cafeterias on East and West Campuses. Menus feature daily selections of entrees
and desserts, a salad bar, sandwiches and choice of beverages. Rates for the Board
Plan are determined by group size and age of participants. Rate sheets are available
upon request.
Sponsors may choose a FLEX Plan for participants as an alternative to the summer
Board Plan. FLEX is set up as a declining balance account to which funds are deposited
for use at dining locations throughout campus, university stores, vending machines,
and laundry facilities. FLEX Plan participants cannot be accommodated at Board
Plan facilities under most circumstances, however, several other dining locations
are open during the summer months. A complete list of dining facilities open during
the summer months is available upon request.
Event Management offers a range of catering options for your program, from
intimate dinners to a real Carolina barbecue. We can cater any event,
